This course provides participants with information in topics such as working at height legislation & regulations, duties under the work at height regulations, requirements for organisation, planning and competence, work at height hierarchy, effects and consequences of work at height accidents, hierarchy of protection controls & hazard management, work at height risk assessments and bad practice.
This course also provides an introduction into the use of ladders, steps and low-level access equipment as well as work at height access equipment.
Additionally, this course also provides an appreciation of the types of harness, work at height rescue procedures, fall protections systems and components, wearing and inspecting harnesses, product solution selection, practical knowledge gained through the course, hazards and rescue kits.
Furthermore, it also demonstrates how to care and store fall arrest equipment safely, fall dynamics, prolonged harness suspension, work at height equipment selection and different types of equipment and their safety issues.
There also is a practical demonstration on how to fit a harness correctly.
All our courses are delivered using the English language so delegates must also have a good command of English both written and spoken so the course can be fully understood.
